39 day in and still just getting started.
At 71 I might seem to be a bit optimistic in trying to reduce my weight after years of over indulgent eating. I got to as low as a loss of 3 pounds twice and back to start weight both times, a bit like a bungee jump really. I would like some friends that can at least encourage me and criticise when needed, after all I'm 71…

Day 29 update "Snakes and Ladders " effect.
By Day 7 I had lost 3 pounds, at Day 14 I had gained 3 pounds, Day 21 I had lost 3 pounds, Good news Day 28 still the same 3 pound lighter , but most important i have not gained any weight. Just another 51 pounds to go. Good luck with your journeys.

14 days and fell off the wagon already.
This has been a bit like "Snakes and Ladders" I got to 3 lbs., lost then skidded back to start. So I've dusted myself off and trying to start anew.

An application for a few friends!
Day 5 of my journey, down 3 pounds, and struggling. I am 71 years young and diagnosed COPD, therefore running and jogging are non-starters , although i do enjoy walking and hiking, i hope there is others that can advise me. I feel as though I have a circular jigsaw puzzle and no picture to guide me where the pieces go.…

Day 2. starting to enjoy this!
Under my calorie limit and still trying to stay focused, any plenty of exercise and no side effects.

Day 1 (Hopefully of many)
Under my daily calorie limit and completed 3 miles walk at a normal walking pace in 65 minutes and didn't need to use my in-haler once.

Hi my names Bob, I'm 71 years young (or 21 with 50 years service), a recent medical check-up put my B M I as 34.8 so time swap my multi-buy for a six-pack. I hope i muster the strength to succeed.
