Thumb Arthritis And Lifting
I have arthritis in the base of both my thumbs, with the right one being the worst. Does anybody have any suggestions to help alleviate some of the pain when working out? Have thought about trying gloves, but not sure I would feel comfortable wearing them.

Squats With Smith Machine
My gym only has Smith machines, no barbells. I see a lot of people, especially women with their feet out in front of their body and lean back into the squat. Is this another variation or bad technique? My knees aren't the best and was wondering if there is any benefit to this?
