Are diet soft drinks detrimental when trying to lose weight? I'm Type 2 diabetic. I'm wondering if I should completely eliminate altogether. Currently I've restricted myself to 1 litre per weekend. Nothing on weekdays.

Eating back exercise calories
Eating back exercise calories does not make sense to me. The point behind exercise specifically cardiovascular is to create a calorific deficit which leads to fat burn. I understand that resistance training increases BMR. Someone please explain the reasoning behind this weight loss methodology?

Eating Back Exercise Calories
I do not understand this method for weight loss. Surely the whole point of exercise is to create a daily calorific deficit so that the body burns fat. If you're eating the exercise calories back then surely your body mass will remain constant.
