I current weigh 152kg. My target mass is 85kg ie 67kg (147 pounds). Problem I'm currently having is reducing my calorific intake. If I stick with the 1900 cals per day plus eating back current exercise calories I am constantly hungry and lack energy. I've also had more hypos than usual. I am building up my exercise program…

The exercise calories aren't estimated they are from my Polar Grit X HR monitor.

1 kg per week. Right. Just completed today's food diary. Bad day ~ 3000 cals intake.
-
Right, so MFP has calculated a daily intake goal of 1890cals. I'll work with that and eat back my exercise calories. 1890cals does seem low to me though.

Yes I remember. I'm listening and heeding the advice. What is the best TDEE to use to calculate my daily calorific intake? Please comment on my current diet. I'm trying to make improvements.

Please look at my food diary. I think my diet needs modification. Please note the glucose tablets and the Lucozade were to treat a hypo. I am Type 2 IDDM diabetic. I am currently 152kg. I'm building up my gym regime. I've set my daily calorific intake at 2000cals. But I think it realistically should be 2500cals. My…

Hello from England, Maria. I have 40kg to lose. Please add me. Let's do this.
-
Yes and my diet is no longer poor.

No weight loss in 3 weeks. I've increased my exercise this week. I'm cycling 18miles every weekday morning. I noticed that my Total Body Water has increased significantly this week.
-
My point is weight loss is greater if you don't eat your exercise calories back.
-
I am currently 160kg so I need to up my game for more aggressive weight loss to meet my Christmas goal.
-
Yes - see my food diary. I cycled 18 miles today. I'm planning on doing this every weekday. I've not lost any weight this week - I don't know why.
-
Friday is my weigh day. I recorded 159.5kg. I'm far off my target. I'm unable to go to the gym because of the second UK lockdown. I've started cycling in the morning before work at 5am for 2 hours.

Nuts & Dried fruit mix. Rich in Monounsaturated fat but far too highly calorific.

I struggle to think of any good that I really dislike. I can only thing that comes to mind is tripe / offal. I've never even eaten it but the idea of doing so even makes feel like puking.
-
I actually felt much more satitated today and I had less calorific intake. The change in my diet has worked. Yes people always comment about me not eating my calories back but I've always disliked this method. I like routine and I like to eat the same calorific intake a day. If I was eating back the exercise calories…

Today is a good day in dietary terms. No snack bars and intake is 2242cals.
-
I think I might try two slices of Ryebread plus Greek Yoghurt+Blueberries. It would make things slightly varied. But I want to try and keep my diet simple without alot of variation for reasons of convenience. I'm in a professional job plus I have studies to focus on.

What is your starting mass?

The reason I have a large breakfast is to stabilise my blood sugars for the rest of the day. My diabetes consultant agreed this was a good strategy. It's the snacks that are the problem. Think I'm going to have to buy more fruit like pears, plums and cut down on the snack bars. I juice the carrots in my juicer. It's…

Please add me. Target is to lose 60kg by September 2021. i am ccurrently 162kg.

I'd be grateful if some of you would look at my food diary. I'm currently averaging 3000 cals per day. The problem is clear the snack bars. They are small only 35g and between 150-200 cals. I think there are better snack options as they are not even filling. I could eat more fruit but I'd welcome suggestions for…

I've set my diary to be public.

10 years ago. I did this workout regime. Its not new its something I've done in the past.

People generally don't see their GP in the UK for such reason. I'm from a family of doctors. I do not see the exercise as being dangerous. I'd rather increase my calorific daily intake than reduce my exercise. Maybe 2500 cals is a reasonable compromise.
