Health checkup, first dexa scan, quitting my diet
Went in for my yearly health checkup today. I been waiting 3 long weeks for this day as I was planning to quit my diet 3 weeks ago. But figured since the health checkup is around the corner I’d keep it up until the checkup was done. As each day got closer, the hunger pangs were getting unbearable. All I could think about…

Food scale recommendations
Anyone using a food scale with a platform big enough to where a 10” dinner plate doesn’t cover up the readout or tare button?

chicken broccoli and rice diet
Chicken, broccoli and rice. Egg and oatmeal. How many people eat this on a daily basis and do you do it because you believe that it's the best diet to reach your goal or for some other reason? Just about every actor that gets interviewed on how they got fit for a role says chicken broccoli and rice, but seems like the…

Faith in people and machines
We all know CICO is key to everyone’s weight loss goal. I often hear people say scale that show body fat are inaccurate. Recommended intake gram vs %

But assume you burned an additional 1000 calories that day.…

Also I make my coffee very weak. About 40g of coffee ground for 1.3L of water. Wondering what other people's opinion is on if coffee should count and is 1…

Calculating calories burned during exercise
For treadmill or cycling on a smart trainer, do you just go with the calories burn the machine says or do you use a different method to calculate calories burned or do you just let your activity tracker calculate it? Obviously there are discrepancies, but trying to figure out which one is more accurate.

Binge eating

How to set an appropriate goal?
I have never had a weight or body fat goal in mind that I was trying to hit. Instead I always used the "try to be the best version of your self" approach. Unfortunately, I am losing motivation to be the best version of my self now. Even maintaining at this point doesn't seem like it is worth the effort. How do you set your…
