How many calories do you do aim to burn a day??
I am wondering, do you go to the gym with a goal of how many calories you want to burn on the machines or do you go by how many miles?? I need to figure out how to change the workout up too....I have bad knees/back, so I do a lot of biking...a lot...also, a bit of elliptical, if the knees are feeling ok. I do lift weights…

less carbs?
So I am going back and forth between 1 pd and it's been a couple weeks....I cannot loose! I am thinking I should drop the carbs and stick to rice and nuts, along with fruit, protein etc. Any suggestions would be helpful. I am doing something wrong!

Goals...how do I?
So can someone tell me how they set up realistic goals for themselves to lose weight? Honestly, is this site enough? I'd like an answer from a 'successful loser'. For example, how should I be pushing myself?

It's not the exercise, it's the food!!!
For me, it was never about the exercise, I love it! I work out 6 days a week, with a trainer on one of those days and also take classes too. It is the food. WATER!!!!
Hi everyone! It is easy easy for me to consume water when I am home in my own digs, but when I am out and about running the kids all over and doing errands...it's so hard! Yes, I bring a water bottle, do I drink it? At a very slow pace--otherwise, I'd be in the bathroom every 20 minutes. What do you all do??

Trouble sleeping???
YO! :) I have had trouble sleeping for about 5 years, about the time I had my first baby....I am finding that it isn't getting better--I've tried prescription medication, tylenol PM and now Melatonin...I do believe my lack of sleep effects my weight loss.
