Why we eat desserts when we are streesed out
Because "stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards, mindblown!

Do you consider yourself a workout aholic?
I'm officially calling our group "The Lics". Ways to identify if you're a Lic. You have training on your mind while you are supposed to be working. You go to the gym when your Dr. tells tells you to stay home and rest. You calculate before you train how many calories you'll have burned. What else peoples?

What is it with "You MUST eat 5-6 meals to lose weight"
Got into it with a gym rat/Personal trainer today. I overheard him telling a client that she absolutely must eat 5-6 meals a day, and not eat any carbs at dinner in order to lose body fat. After the client left, I told him what I thought about his 'advice'. Needless to say he got all defensive. I asked him to explain to me…

Why eat back exercise calories?
Why do people recommend to other people who are attempting to lose weight, to eat back all their exercise calories? I understand…

For me 1) Nutrition - macros, calorie count, nutrient dense foods as much as possible 2) Training - Proper training technique and form, intensity and consistency 3) Rest and Recovery - 6-8 hours of sleep, 2 rest days per week. 4) Supplements - Supplement what I can't get through food. Many people I speak with at the gym 1)…

Food labeling loopholes (Undeclared fat)
I just remembered this, be careful with foods that claim they are trans fat free. If the serving amount contains less than 0.5grams of fat per serving, manufactureres can claim it as "Fat Free" Many snack foods doop their customers into buying these "Fat Free" products such as cookies, candy bars, baked goods, etc.…

What's the worst nutrition or fitness myth you've heard?
There are many that chap my hide, but one that irks me is when guys at the gym say "I'm gonna bulk up, then turn the fat into muscle". When I hear that, I want to ram my head into the wall.

Were you a better person before the weight loss?
I know that some people change when they get to their goal weight. I know it's cool to get a boost in confidence and have a more positive outlook on your life, but did anyone become a "bad person" after losing weight? I.E. stuck up or cold hearted towards overweight people, maybe even some of your family and freinds?

Vitamins and Energy Rant
I'm getting tired of seeing all these post about how "this vitamin gave me energy" or "take this B complex cause it will give you energy". Most of these people making these claims don't even know the difference between fat and water soluble vitamins. Energy comes from the 3 macros. nothing else! I'm not saying vitamins and…
