Hi all! I have been on and off again on this site. When I use the site I get good results in terms of weight loss. After a 2.5 month lower back injury and the 2 eating holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas), I have a bit of work to do. Wouldn't mind adding a few friends... :)

calorie burn calculations (Garmin vs Polar)
So I recently purchased the Garmin 910xt. I have been a Polar user forever. One drastic thing I noticed is that the Garmin calorie count for the same exercise is WAY lower than the Polar. What is your HR when running?
Compared to the few friends I have that own a HRM and run, it seems like my HR is much higher than theirs. I am 45 and the half marathon I ran in Dec, I avg 176 BPM. With a max around 182. I am worried that this is too high to maintain and I should be limiting my HR to a lower level. What are your avg HRs when running (or…

dizziness during dieting
Hoping someone can shed some light on a problem I have been having. Started on this program again 3 weeks ago. Whenever I stand up whether quickly or slowly I get very dizzy for a few seconds. I hang onto something until it passes. No other symptoms than that. Anyone else experiencing this type of issue? Thanks!
