I am interested in getting a lactate test so I can establish my training HR zones. I would love any feedback from people who have had the test done. Pros, cons or otherwise. Thanks in advance!!!

I've done more than I can remember. I stopped a few years ago when I got WKO+.
Pros:
it's really accurate and gives you some good training targets.
Cons:
You will get stabbing in the finger a half dozen times during the test
Results can vary in the lab due to your nervousness
As you progress through the year, your zones can change in as little as 6 weeks, so it can get expensive to keep re-testing.
With modern equipment and software, you can do most of the testing on your own for free0 -
