What changes have you made?
Went to Wendy's with my oldest son today and had a 1/4 lb single cheeseburger and a small chocolate frosty. Not exactly "diet" food but compared to my usual large combo with french fries and a large coke; it's an improvement. What are you doing differently?

What's your REAL goal?
I've lost (and found) quite a few pounds over the years BUT this time I refuse to let a number on the scale define who I am or how I am doing. It's just feedback. What I REALLY want is to not see a gut hanging over my pants when I look down and to run again (without feeling like I'm carrying a 30 lb dumbell with me). And…

Sights on exercise route?
Went out to just get some coffee and ended up doing 4 mile walk of lower Manhattan. Under Brooklyn Bridge and past South Street Seaport, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, World Trade Center, and City Hall. Lower NYC is peaceful at night. What sights do you see on your exercise route?

Good time to start?
Parents are here for a few days for son's 1st Communion. Lots of food and very little exercise. Maybe not the best time to start a weight loss program but when IS a good time? Just doing my best which is still better than what I was doing 2 weeks ago. 1 day at a time.
