Simply put: The guy is an idiot!! Don't listen to him. Glad you can laugh about it. Now. Keep going. You are doing great!

When ebook readers first started appearing, I thought it was a stupid idea. I wanted the feel of a real book. WELL, now I have my Kindle Fire and I get mad when a book is not available in ebook format. First, I like the ability to change the font since most paperback print is so small. Second, I like how it syncs last page…

Weight goals are a PERSONAL choice. You have to be happy with how you look in the mirror. Whatever number that is is ultimately YOUR decision. See how you look as you lose weight and stop when you want to stop.

And I will Second that. Job well done!! Congratulations!! Keep going. You can do it.

YES!! I donate whole blood and also platelets. Received a 10 gallon award last year. People can't live without donations and you never know whose life you may save. Only a small percentage of eligible donors actually give. I wish more people would donate.

Ummm...if there was a beautiful woman in a red thong (or any color) in front of me at the gym; I would run TWO marathons before I looked at the display. But maybe that's just me...

Congratulations!! Great job!

Well, I flipped through your diary and the thing that jumps out at me is that you might not be eating enough. If you don't eat enough your body can go into starvation mode and start hoarding your calories instead of burning them. Especially if you are a gym person which you appear to be. I know, I know. It doesn't make…

I don't drink either. I don't really like the taste AND I've seen too many people do stupid things or get hurt because of it. When I am out with people and they find out that I don't drink I usually get a shrug of the shoulders or a slightly raised eyebrow. That's about it. True friends will understand. Jerks will push it.…

I'm trying to cut back on carbs and eat more protein BUT...I will never give up my pasta.

Celebrate the little successes because they add up to big ones. Congratulations!!

I log them too. You can't change what you've already done or eaten but hopefully seeing it in black and white will keep you from repeating the same mistakes.

Yep. I am 43 now. I lost 65 lbs 13 years ago pretty quickly. Weight just fell off. Now I have about 35 of those to lose again and they are fighting me every inch of the way. It may be a little harder for us but we can do it!!

43 year old guy from the Bronx. Lost 65 lbs 13 years ago and kept it off for about 11. Weight started creeping back on with 2 kids and the midnight shift. Looking to lose about 35 lbs and start doing some 5Ks in Central Park again. Did the NYC Half and the Westchester Half when I was "in shape".

I only told my wife since she does most of the cooking and I want to eat healthier with smaller portions. I'm not telling anyone else. When I am successful, they'll notice.

Good morning.

Just rejoined this site yesterday. I would love to lose 10 lbs during the month of May. I am going to work hard at it.
