How to fuel on a race while doing a sugar detox?
I'm racing (using that term loosely since I just want to finish) in a duathlon this weekend and will need to fuel my body at least 2-3 times. I guesstimate to be out there 2 1/2 hours. How do I fuel my body if I'm currently doing a sugar detox or do I just break the rules during the race and use gels and/or bars?

Why do I sabotage myself when I reach a mini goal?
My goal last week was to lose 2 lbs to get below 170. I didn't make it but I did hit it this morning. Weighed in at 169.6. Yeah! Girl Scout cookies are EVIL!!
LOL!! I have been doing very good though and not eating a whole sleeve in one sitting. Had 4 cookies (serving size) yesterday and today. I purposely didn't order any, just eating some of my daughters :) and had the hubby take his to work with him.

Wow, pancakes are NOT a good breakfast choice!
I've fallen off the tracking my food wagon and thought I'd get back on this morning. I had pancakes with my daughter this morning...wow! Bad idea! 640 calories just for the pancakes alone.
