Congrats!! I completed my first 5k a few weeks ago and am doing another next weekend to keep me motivated. I've only run outside and had to run on the treadmill while on vacation recently and hated every second of it.

Ran my first 5k on 6/18, 3 days after finishing C25k, and ran it in 36 minutes, 40 seconds. Little bit quicker than what I was doing at home because of no hills. I need to sign up for another to keep me motivated.

I will definitely shift your weight off of you. You may notice more inches coming off than weight but that's also a good thing. I burn anywhere from 700 - 1000 calories an hour. Measure yourself as the others suggested. And are you "sure" you don't eat that bad? Log your food for a few weeks and you may be surprised at how much more calories you're taking in than you thought.

I haven't done the Warrior Dash but have done Dirty Girl 5k Mud Run and Tough Mudder (10-11 miles NOT kilometers) and am doing both again this year. You don't need to spend a ton of money on an HRM. I have a Timex (T5G971) HRM for $39 from Amazon it works great. Gives me my average heart rate which I can then put in any heart rate calorie calculator to determine number of calories burned. Last night doing the 30 Day Shred, MFP and my HRM were off by one calorie burned.

Venison (deer) bacon! It's the best and much fewer calories than regular bacon. It's especially good cooked on the grill. The only place you may be able to buy this though is at a true meat market and possibly not even there.
