Why do I sabotage myself when I reach a mini goal?

My goal last week was to lose 2 lbs to get below 170. I didn't make it but I did hit it this morning. Weighed in at 169.6. Yeah! So now today, I've already had one Mt Dew and quite a few Lays Stax potato chips. Can we sabotage my mini goal any more! UGH! Plus I've been feeling really down since yesterday. I hate being cooped up in the house working all day and yesterday was just not a good day workwise. Maybe I just need to set appointments on the old calendar with myself to get outside every once in a while especially now that it's getting nice out. I did just get a banana. Oh and I didn't exercise this morning. Maybe a bike ride is in order for my lunch hour.

Yeah I do the same thing sometimes. Get a good scale drop and then spend the day eating more than I should, or worse than I should. Not sure why it happens, but recognizing it and what triggers it is the first step to getting rid of it. We all just gotta get comfortable with falling off and getting right back on again without beating ourselves up about it.0
