Good morning Ladies, it is going to be another hot day here in New England. They say it may hit the tripple digits. Out for my run bright and early at 6:10 AM. Hope everyone manages to get some exercise in, but take it easy. If you can not get outside due to the weather do it inside. Take the stairs instead of the…

Good morning Ladies. Hope everyone had a fabulous evening. It's Saturday not sure where you all are located, but I see the weather has been hot for most of you as it has been for me. Last night I had trouble sleeping and spent a lot of time thinking and have a thought for you today. Fitness is not just about our physical…

My church is having a blood drive on Thursday and I want to donate. Usually Thursday is a run day, should I alter my schedule this week or will I be ok if I just make sure I am…

Ok, so I graduated from c25k a bout 6 weeks ago. Have been doing it on my home treadmill & ran outside for the 1st time today. I knew it would be harder, I needed to revert back to some intervals, but do feel very encouraged by my results. With my son's encouragement I am signing up for my 1st 5 K in a month. Thankfully it…

C25K long runs support needed
I just struggled with week 7 Day 1. I just can not do 25 minutes of straight run at the pace I had been doing. What is best, slow my pace, but keep running for 25 minutes or keep running pace the same, but take a walk break when I need it?

toughest week of c25k?
So I started c25k on January 1 and just finished week 5D1. So far the first 2 weeks seemed the hardest, but I know this week starts some long runs. I am wondering from some experienced peeps what week did you consider the hardest?

I am soon to be 52 with a current weight of 179lb and currenly on week 3 of c25k program using my home tread mill. It is going pretty well for me so far, my pace could be faster, but not to bad for a fat old chick. What sort of exercise should I be doing on my non c25k days? I was thinking pilates, but not sure. Some days…

Exercise age 50+
I am soon to be 52. My exercise of choice is walking. Up untill this fall I walked an average of 5 miles every day, but now with New England winters settling in with shorter days and the bitter cold I am finding it more difficult. I do have a treadmill at home, but find using it rather boring. I do have a gym close by, but…
