Wow, I did that!
My best friend lives on the island of Dominica in the eastern Carribbean, which is pretty much a vertical island with very little flat land. They are known as the "Nature Island" and have a number of waterfalls, hot springs, and other cool features only accessible by trail. Before this year, I've only managed a few as I…

Bad Habits Creeping In or Bad Thinking?
I apparently seem to be one of these people who can eat more even after the surgery. I'm about 4.5 months out and my daily calorie intake averages 1100-1200 calories a day, though if I'm eating out I can get up to 1400 cal/day. Calories vs Net Calories vs Carbs vs Protein
A few questions for some of the vets: 1. Do you just look at straight calories eaten or MFP "net" calories? I like to add in my exercise (I get my calorie count from my heart rate monitor) just to keep track of how much I did that week but then I get more calores/carbs/etc. 2. Any suggestions on carb counts? My NUT said…

Am I just being neurotic? Or doing something wrong?
Hi all, Some background: I was sleeved on Jan 29th and other than some initial problems while in the hospital, it has been a great (though sometimes odd) experience. My blood sugar levels have been on the lower side, so I was told to discontinue my metformin for now. I am currently transitioning to mushy foods (so sick of…
