Looking for supportive MFPals
hi people. I'm not new to MFP, and went through a period of great health, but in the last year and a half I fell off the wagon and wasn't on MFP because of it (which means people deleted me while inactive). I've gotten back on the wagon and need people who are fabulous with support and encouragement for which I can do the…

I hate my roommates
So, I can't say this in public, and I can't say it on Facebook, but no one knows me here so I just have to say: "I hate my roommates" I'm tired of apologizing for existing, or walking on eggshells when one of them is in a bad mood, or getting yelled at for no reason whatsoever. I'm moving out of this house within the next…

Heart Rate Monitor/Calorie Counter?
Hey Everyone, I'm looking into getting a HRM/Calorie Counter, but would like some advice on a good one (that's inexpensive). I want something that can calculate my actual calorie count as I'm exercising (since I know that MFP is a little off). What do you think?

Hey guys, I'm really excited! On November 4th I'm running in the Chicago Hot Chocolate 5K while my sister runs the 15K! Woo! I just wanted to see if anyone else on here is running and how your training is coming. I've been doing the C25K workout program and I'm up to 28 minutes of consistent running. This is really big for…

Hobbies in place of food.
I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but I'm having a bit of a hard time feeling motivated to do something with the time in which I would usually just snack and waste time. I'm trying to resist the urge to snack, but when I waste time, the only thing my subconcious knows is that its time to snack.…

Is this really POSSIBLE?
All of my life (or since I passed puberty), I've been overweight. In high school I looked for quick fixes, also tried a few in college, but knew that nothing was going to happen quickly and it would take at least a year to get me to a healthy weight. I would try something, but in the back of my mind, I never thought it was…
