WLSFA LV Meet & Greet - Who's Going?
I just bought my tickets, reserved my room and am set to go to this year's WLSFA Mother of All Meet n Greet's in Las Vegas this year. I couldn't go last year which was a bummer. So who's going and do you want to get together while we're there to do something? I'm getting in late Thurs. so I'll have all Friday to do stuff…

The Real Skinny
Okay who watched this on TLC? I kind of didn't want to because I hate drama and they were making these people out to be really dramatic and whiny. But I "know" the gal who was featured so I felt compelled to watch and found it a lot more bearable and interesting than I expected. But it made me not want to get PS. Which…

Who's at goal?
I'm just curious how many of us are past the losing phase and learning how to live the rest of our lives? I've been at goal for not quite 3 years now and in some ways I feel very normal and often forget I had WLS but in other ways I'm still learning about my body and how to eat all the time. Garmin 305/310XT vs. Polar RS300/800 Multi-Sport
I'm buying myself a new HRM for my birthday. I have narrowed it down to either the Garmin Multi-Sport (either a 305 or a 310) or the Polar Multi-sport (either the RS300 or RS800). Money is only an issue in the sense that I want to get good value for my money. I was given enough money to buy any of these HRMs. So I'm…

Can I swim with my HRM?
I have Reebok Precision XT. The instructions say it's 'water resistant' to 30m. I'm just going to swim in a pool and in open water on the surface, not go down to 30 m. But "water resistant" makes me nervous. Anyone swim with the HRM and can tell me if it survived?

GGGOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLL
No, I didn't play soccer this weekend. But I did get to a normal BMI. Yeah me! So I'm now at "goal". That is to say, I've made all the weight loss-related goals I started with. I lost over 90 pounds, I have a normal BMI, and I'm in a size smaller than 10, my initial size goal. I really didn't have any goals beyond that. I…

Switching from The Daily Plate
I used to track my food on The Daily Plate, but I like the user interface over here better. So I'm trying it out for a while. I'm a 51 year old mother of two and a software engineer and budding triathlete. I lost 80 lb. over the past year, 29 before I had weight loss surgery and the rest after. I'm about 10 lb. from my…
