Polar HRM while snowboarding?
I'm going on a snowboarding trip in the next few weeks and am interested to see how many calories I burn while snowboarding. Can my Polar FT4 HRM last that long? 4+ hours? Anyone do this before?

Cutting back on sugar...
My sister and I decided to give up drinking soda in the new year. I know I have an obsession with sugar. What other items do you recommend I should cut that will help with tha craving of sugar? We don't eat white bread. I use brown rice, etc. Thanks!

Setting sedentary underactivity level?
I have a desk job so I have my activity level set as sedentary but I workout 3-4 days a week for an hour. Should I be changing my activity level to reflect that or does adding my exercise cals make up for that? Right now my cals are at 1410 but if I change my exercise to lightly active it goes up to 1540. WWMFPD?

Do you pre-log exercise?
I exercise at night after my daughter is in bed. That's usually after dinner. Do yo pre=log your exercise so that you can distribute your exercise calories throughout the day? I haven't been to the gym in the last week. :( We had friends in town from last Saturday to Wednesday and then my daughter was home sick puking so I didn't get to go. But my weight keeps going down. Those on 1200 calories...
I just joined MFP on Sunday. Monday was my first day tracking. I only have 10 pounds to get to my goal and I'm 5'4". I have my account set to 1 pound a week. I can stick to 1200 calories a day but should I be eating my exercise calories burned? Who else is on 1200 calories a day? How is it working for you?

Why Almosn Milk over Fat Free Milk?
I usually use fat free milk, but I see a lot of people use Almond Milk. At the store yesterday I noticed the Almond Milk is lower in calories but higher in fat. Please explain?
