50 pounds to go
Hey all, I'm reintroducing myself because I've been mostly MIA for a while. I'm a mom of one little firecracker; lover of food, beer, and hockey; and caregiver to 13 psychiatrists. I'm down 25-ish pounds from my highest weight and have 50 pounds to go before I hit my first major goal. I'm looking for some active buddies to…

Active posters, 50+ pounds to lose
Hey all, I'm looking for active posters (I mean, people who do more than log in...) and are looking to lose 50+ pounds. I want to connect with a group of people as I start over for the 8274th time.

Re-introduction - looking for active posters!
Hey all, I'm going to re-introduce myself since it has been some time since I've been active on MFP because I was pregnant. My babe is now 7 weeks old and I'm looking for people to connect with. Fair warning: I can lean towards being a little inappropriate and I may curse... a lot. Thanks lovlies. Let's get healthy!

Postpartum
Hey all! I'm almost 5 weeks postpartum. I'm looking for other moms to connect with. At risk of making this sound like a dating ad, I like beer, hockey, baseball, inappropriateness, swearing, my husband and, most of all, my daughter. Message or add me if I sound like your cup of tea.

Pregnant with GD
Hey all, I have been recently diagnosed with gestational diabetes as I approached my third trimester. I decreased my carb and fat intake for maintenance of the GD but suspected that I was now undereating... and was right. So I'm using MFP as a guide to keep my carbs and fats low but ensure that my caloric intake stay up…

Need new MFP buddies.
I like to swear, drink beer, watch hockey, sarcasm, along with other girly things. I have an autoimmune disorder and my meds make my weight loss damn hard. I'm getting married last year and have every intention of looking my best. I need people who are active and would prefer those looking to lose 50+ pounds. Also, I'm…

Why are you on prednisone and what is your experience?
I've been off and on high and medium dose prednison for nearly 12 years for a rare autoimmune disorder. I've gained approximately 70 pounds off of it and have been fighting to lose the weight for years. I've lost 30 pounds twice (and gained back and then some) and recently lost 17 pounds (and then gained back and then some…

Digifit Question
My digifit says I burned 375 today during my walk/jog. I lopped off 100 calories to be safe. Does anyone find their digifit accurate/inaccurate?

Medication fat!
I've been on medication for an autoimmune disorder and they have overall caused me to gain 80 pounds. (The last people I want to reply to this are the people who say that it's not the medication, you need to hold yourself accountable, blah blah blah. If you're that person, speak to a doctor regarding the affects of…

Open Diaries
When I peek around at diaries, I always feel like mine isn't "appropriate". I have beer, wine, chips, candy, red meat, etcetera in my diaries. Then I remember that I'm not dieting; I'm making a lifestyle change, and it's okay to have all those things that I love in moderation, especially since I exercise my butt off so I…

Refuse to buy new summer clothes!
I'm currently at my biggest weight ever (minus 3 pounds now). I have a closet full of beautiful clothes and I refuse to buy a new wardrobe to suit my bigger figure. I'm coming for you, summer clothes! *flex*

Edmonton Alberta 20s and 30s
Hey all, I'm looking to add more woman (sorry, just women) with outgoing, quirky, and somewhat inappropriate personalities (the last is a person favorite) that can help keep me motivated! I'm from Edmonton, Alberta. I have three things against me: I love my couch, I love food, and I take a medication known for drastic…

New Years Eve Beverages
NYE is tomorrow and I, like many others, will be ringing in the new year with some alcoholic beverages. However, I don't want to blow my caloric intake. Suggestions?

Cute weightloss tracking idea.
Hey guys, I made this recently to track my weightloss. I keep it in my kitchen to remind me to stay on track. I get so excited to drop those little stones from the "Pounds to Lose" jar to the "Pounds Lost" jar! It only costs about $6 to make at any dollar store. :) It's kept me on track thus far (with the help of MFP too,…

Mentstrual Cycle and Weight Gain
I'm finding this week frustrating. The scale has gone up two pounds, but I'm still only eating my 1200-1400 calories. However, I think it's connected to my period (sorry boys). Does anyone else experience this? And if so, how much do you typically gain?
