I lost my baby weight right after my kiddo but gained 35 pounds while on mat leave. I'm not working to lose that (26 pounds down) and then the stuff I should have lost before!
-
Sent a FR. Also looking for people to help keep me motivated!
-
I'll join you in those goals, Bella!
-
Your goals are very similar to mine! I just want out of the 200s to start.
-
My babe is 3 months and I'm finally getting my *kitten* together! Feel free to add me!
-
Feel free to add me if you want. I'm 252 and 5'4 with one baby girl and a love for all that's bad. Today I'm changing my life or tomorrow I'll wake up to something that seems even more unachievable.

Also looking for people! 37 pounds to go and my daughter turned one month yesterday!
-
I'm also looking for people with newborns. I've lost all my pregnancy weight but I have 37 pounds of pre-pregnancy weight that I'm trying to lose. Feel free to add me.

Thanks everyone! I upped my fats today and feel much more satisfied. I added in things like nuts and cottage cheese. What I really want is cake. Haha. I attend a diabetic clinic on Wednesday, but I wanted to do everything I could to get ahead of the game to make sure my girl is as healthy as possible!

When it comes to the ellipitical, my gym's elliptical is almost identical to my HRM. I never trust MFP. I almost cut everything in half, which I know is a little much, but it's better than eating back too many calories for me. Now I rely completely on my HRM.

I agree!

BINGO!

I've heard that about a lot of psychotropic medications! I work in mental health and hear all kinds of weight gain stories.
-
Both, unfortunately. It causes a change in your metabolism, which causes weight gain. I've been on and off it (mostly on) for 13 years. I've worked hard not to be a complete blimp! Short-term you shouldn't notice a significant difference. It's the long-term use that gets ya! Thank you for the support. :)
-
I had a dietician and a trainer. Thankfully I didn't gain more with the constant, long-term use. Stupid drugs.

At 1 pound loss per week, that sounds about right. :)
-
Sent. :)
-
What did you set your weightloss rate at? 1 pound per week?
-
Confident! Great loss!
-
Your story was not only inspiring but entertaining and engaging! Thank you for sharing and congratulations!
-
I'm also looking for motivated and active friends!
-
Your boyfriend asked you to lose more weight and you find THIS offensive? Clearly we're being pranked. Ha!
-
Out of all posts in a forum ever, this may be the most painful to read. I worry about humanity.
-
Portion your food. Learn when you're full. Snack healthy and often. Drink lots of water. All the simple things are what will make you successful. Knock'em dead!

I friggen love fudgesicles!
