Did my first outdoor run - 2.23 miles in 29 mins
So I went running. Ran to my stables and back. I didn't run all the way, walked a bit, at a fast pace and just jogged the rest steady. Apparently it took me 29 mins each way and the length was 2.23 miles. So my first ever outdoor run was 4.46 miles at an average of 13 mins per mile... I'm pretty chuffed with that :D How'd…

I've been exercising solidly for 3 weeks now, 60 mins plus per day, 6 x per week (elliptical, free weights, squats, pull ups, push ups, swimming), plus extra bits like walking around the yard/ carying/ lifting things looking after my horse, and partaking in my fave pastime of drumming. I lunge my horse 5/6 x per week for 20 mins. ride ( low - medium level schooling) 3 x per week for 30 - 45 mins, and the occasional hack for an hour+. In between times I'm tacking up/ untacking, grooming, walking to and from the field, poo picking (she's out 24/7), putting on/ taking off rugs, sweeping the yard etc. Any…

What to eat when under daily calories?
I keep finding myself 100 - 500 calories under my daily goal. Does anyone have any ideas for good calorific snacks that are not fattening? I seem to be coming up short on carbs, so some kind of carby snack... crisps? Thanks :)
