I used my Polar HRM today outside for the first time. It was really hot out and I feel like I burned more calories than I actually did. Does heat affect your HR or the amount of calories you burn? Also, does the monitor take into account the calories you would burn if u did nothing? 200 calories for barely getting my HR up…
There is a very big difference between what myfitnesspal saids I burned and what the elliptical says I burned. 30 minutes on mfp is 325 calories and my elliptical saids I only burned 230. Which do you think is more accurate? Which do you follow? Thanks!
