HAHA! Thanks for the advice, I figured it was off a bit. I will take that into account.

Wow! I am happy to see I am in good company. I drive 30 miles each way but I drive to Los Angeles every day so it's about an hour there, an hour and half back, so 2.5 hours a day in the car. I have to fill up every 3 days, about 45 dollars each time. Like someone else said, people do what they have to do to work. I'm still…

I weigh myself every monday morning. When I weigh myself every day, I don't like what I see and get discouraged. If I just hold out a whole week, I find the numbers are more true.

Spironolactone lowered my testosterone significantly. It also made my excess hair growth go away PERMANRNTLY. My endo said some people experience that if they are on it a long time. Well I was on it for almost 10 years with BC pills then stopped to become pregnant and lo and behold it is so much better than it used to be.…

Love Metformin! It regulates my periods and help me lose weight easier. I also took it when I was having infertility problems and conceived using that and Clomid. I am currently on only 1000mg a day but will up to 1700 in a month or so. Def start slow i started at 500 for a week then went to 1000. I had some diarrhea in…

Wow! This really inspires me! I carry my weight like you said, around the midsection. If I had a stomach like yours is now, that'd be a miracle! Amazing!

Yes Met helped regulate me a lot too, great medicine for PCOS

Great job that is wonderful!!

You can add me too. I lost weight using Metformin and know a lot of others who did too. HTH.

Just wanted to chime in that I am also hypgoglycemic but still take Metformin for insulin resistance. Even if your blood tests are normal, which mine were, we are usually still insulin resistant as a PCOS'er. I make sure to eat protien as my first meal of the day, as long as I do that, I do not have any attacks. I think…

I tried for 18 months to get pregnant. I was on the pill before hand and Spironolactone for the hair issues. When I realized I couldn't ovulate on my own, I was put on Clomid and 1700mg of Metformin, even though I have never shown blood sugar issues, I was not overweight but did carry my weight in my stomach and have the…

I had a very extreme case of this. It was because my feet were becoming flat. I had orthotics and still had a lot of pain. I tried swimming, using the elliptical and walking. My case was very severe and was continuing to get worse, I couldn't even wear anything but high tops to support my ankles so I ended up getting…
