I love carbs. Mostly potatoes. So, I've been slowly cutting them out and am having a much easier time staying within my calories. BUT. Now it keeps showing my protein is way too high. I keep hearing references to weight loss and salt. Is salt bad for weight loss? if so, why?

While nursing...
I am nursing a baby, and I didn't see a spot for that to figure into the daily calories used. Is there a way to adjust for that, or do I need to guess?
