VO2 Numbers
I recently had my VO2 assessment done at Lifetime Fitness on a treadmill. My number was 21.7 (I'm 6', 46 years old). Unless I'm reading the table wrong, that's a really, really, really bad number. I guess I'm disappointed that number isn't higher taking into account that I bike, jog, strength train, etc. I know these tests…

Chocolate Milk and Whey (premixing).
I hate coming up with a subject some times :) I normally have some chocolate milk with some chocolate whey mixed in every day as I need it. What happens if I take the whey, mix it into my chocolate milk and save it for the next day or two? Has anybody done that? Any advantages / disadvantages of premixing the milk and whey…

I work the midnite shift and hit the place at about 7:30am and am usually there for about 60 to 90 minutes. I joined at the end of May of this year and have…

Hopefully More To Come
In May of this year I finally decided it was time to lose some weight. I joined a Bally that was only a couple of blocks away from where I worked. With signing up I also received 4 free sessions with a personal trainer. I weight 298 pounds with a 48 waist. With my trainers help, working out 6 days a week, I'm down to 259…
