What time is breakfast?
I used to wake up and eat breakfast or get ready for work and then eat breakfast. Lately, I leave the house for work, drink coffee in the car and eat breakfast at work. It makes the wait for lunch shorter and I'm not usually that hungry before breakfast. What do you do?

Sore, bloody nipples
So apparently having sore, bloody nipples when running is a thing. Found out this morning when I got back to the house to take a shower and I had red streaks down my shirt after running. Embarrassing. My nipples weren't bleeding so it seemed mysterious. I searched online and apparently the chafing creates this pain and…

Any other Southern Californians?
Hi. I've been on for a few months and have dropped double-digit weight. Very proud of it but a lot more work to go. I'm 39, married, father and live in the San Fernando Valley. Any other southern Californians? We can share gripes about the freezing cold weather when the temperature drops below 65, the upsetting traffic…

Starbucks treat receipt -- $2 iced grande drinks
Starbucks brought back the treat receipt promotion for August -- buy any drink in the morning and return after 2pm in the afternoon to get any iced grande size drink for $2 (plus tax). So that begs the question -- what are the healthy iced grande options? (When they've run this promotion in the past, I've tended to toss…

To those who want a self-esteem boost
I've found a lot of wisdom in this Disney Junior "Small Potatoes" short video called "I Just Want to Be Me." (Also, if you have a young child, I recommend Small Potatoes. Our child loves them so we always have a device with YouTube handy.) The point is -- be proud of being yourself. There's only one of you and embrace…

Workout apps for iPad and iPhone?
I'm looking for a great workout app for iPad and iPhone that helps me through a workout at home and tracks my progress. Ideally, I'd like to not spend that much. I've tried: GAIN Fitness -- Good and syncs with Runkeeper but doesn't work on iPad Skimble Workout Trainer -- Good and works on both iPad and iPhone but asks for…

It's Sunday night so ... NFL?
If you're going to be following the NFL this fall, what are your Sunday strategies to avoid heavy calories and sedentary behavior? Because I try to watch every game on and follow fantasy leagues. The Sunday night game is kind of mandatory.

New from L.A.
Hi everyone, I joined MFP a little while ago after getting a Fitbit and hearing that the food catalog is much better in MFP. I'm a 39 y.o., married father of a 5-month old girl. I work in an office at a desk all day and have a 2-3 hour commute. Weight has been a struggle throughout adulthood but I'm focused to fix it. I've…
