Calories left over
I am trying to eat close to my daily target and when I exercise, I am often left with several hundred calories left at the end of the day. My first instinct is, "Yay! Ice cream! Cookies!". What do you eat that's not crappy when you have a lot of calories left?

People with active jobs:
Do you count your job related activities as exercise? I am a server and normally don't count the average 8 miles per day I walk at work as "exercise", but yesterday was extremely busy and hectic and I'm sure I moved more than usual. Does anyone ever count things like this as exercise or add a few calories? Just curious!

I am a restaurant server and have access to all kinds of bad foods throughout my shift. Unfortunately, the pastry chef is also one of my best friends.
