Small victory today - NSV
Today it was a little slow at work so I slide out to Old Navy to try on some jeans. When I started this journey I wearing a 42 inch waist. I've now gotten down to a 36 so I thought I would try on a 34. To my surprise I was able to do them up. They were just a wee bit tight but I got them on and they felt comfortable! I…

Potential Plateau
I am just finishing up week 20 of my weight loss journey and I think I am hitting a plateau. To date I have lost 41 pounds and continue to work out hard at the gym. Albeit my diet has slipped a little bit but nothing to crazy. It slipped in the sense that I have not been as diligent updating MFP with absolutely everything…

Today's NSV

Down 40
Today I hit a milestone and have lost 40lbs. This is the most I have lost ever and I am still going strong. I want to drop another 60 and I know I will reach that goal!! MFP has been a great tool to keep me on track and stay motivated. I love everyone's story and enjoy all of their successes.

What I didn't expect was how hard it was to feel comfortable in smaller size cloths. I think I am so used to hiding in baggy cloths. My wife said that I…

Mid-Point Motivation Challenge
So I am now at my mid-point in my weight loss schedule. This is not the first time I've attempted to lose a lot of weight. Every other time I always seem to lose motivation and the half-way point. I am not sure if I am scared of success or of failure. However this time around I am finding MFP to be so helpful. Logging in…
