Getting back to healthy habits and the friends who hate on you for it.
I used to be in phenomenal shape. I worked out consistently and was very disciplined with my diet. Then, life happened and I fell off the fitness wagon and gained weight and slowly got away from exercising. For the first time in over a year I’m finally getting back to my routine and focusing on getting back in shape. Ice…

Orangetheory - thoughts?
Orangetheory is relatively new to my area and I'm thinking about giving it a try. It's a little pricey but I'm looking for something that is t crossfit and has more of a sense of community/support than just going to the gym on my own. Does anybody have experience with it? Positive or negative feedback? Thanks!!

How do you break up with your trainer?
When I first started my fitness quest I got a personal trainer. I've been working with her for a couple of months and have seen great results. She has really helped me. BUT....now that I'm past the "I just want to lose a few pounds and firm up" phase, I don't know that she is the right trainer for me. I'm starting to want…

I know 1200/day is low and people have suggested increasing my intake but I have an irrational fear that increasing to 1400 or 1500 per day is…

I'm doing well eating clean but I seem to always go over on the carb intake. Most of the carbs are coming from fruits, vegetables and beans. I really want to get the carbs down but by the…

HELP - looking for advice
I've been eating clean(er) and sticking to an exercise routine for about 7 weeks now. I've lost 12lbs which I'm THRILLED about but I'm a little bummed that its not coming off faster. I want to lose the fat and then work on getting more toned. It would be nice to see my abs again some day :-) I do strength training 3-4…

Half way to my goal weight - need motivation
I started my quest to get healthy in mid February. I started eating healthy and a few weeks after that started my exercise routine. I'm going to the gym 3-4 times a week and trying to do cardio 4-5 times a week. My starting weight was 167 and I'm currently at 155 with a goal weight of 145 (I'm 5ft 7 in). I've been ultra…
