What motivates you more? Seeing the numbers go down on the scale, or the physical changes you see in the mirror? Or fitting into those jeans you haven't been able to wear lately?

Motivation question!
So I remember, years ago when I first attempted to diet, that buying a pair of pants two sizes smaller was a sort of motivation to lose the weight to fit into them. I've had this on my mind recently, so I thought I'd ask! What are your thoughts on doing this? Has anyone already done it?
