Can you tell me if you think my activity level is correct?
Hi All, I am using Scooby's calorie calculator. BMR - 1488 TDEE - 2056 TDEE minus 10% - 1850, currently set at this. I am 3 lbs away from my goal. Thyroid Cancer Survivors?
Hi All! I am new to this group! I had my thyroid removed in 1999, due to a cancerous nodule. I have been feeling pretty good recently and have been successful with my weight loss. My concern - I am under thyroid suppression therapy, where my TSH is around .1, so technically I am synthetically hyperthyroid all the time. I…

Tall ladies, share your goal weight
I'm 5'9 and my goal is 155. I'm just curious as to what other tall ladies have set for their goals. I started trying to lose weight after my second child. I was 184 lbs and couldn't drop the flab. I am at 167 now, so I am super pysched that I am almost there! I might go a little lower, maybe 150 if I make it.

I don't know if it has…

Can I borrow calories from a previous day?
Sometimes I end up with an extra 200-300 from a previous day, especially when I exercise. Other days I'm right at the brink of my 1580 cals. Can I go a little over and chalk it up as left over calories from another day? Anybody else do this and how to do you track it...

Why does it take sooo long to lose weight?
I guess I always looks for instant results. I've lost 4 lbs in 5 weeks. I get a little frustrated though, because I am ALWAYS under my calorie requirement, sometimes by 200-300 calories. Seems so easy to gain and so hard to lose.
