HRM Spazing
Last night at my spin class my HRM was all over the place-at one point it was reading that my HR was at 220!! I was working hard, but not THAT hard. So, unfortunately, I didn't get a solid read for my workout. Has this happened to anyone else? My friend was next to me and was also wearing a HRM. Is it possibly that my HRM…

Frustrating Weight Gain
Good evening! I am back on MFP after a long hiatus. The main reason for coming back is that I lost weight at the beginning of this school year, intentionally. Now it is starting to creep up on me again. My diary is open and is somewhat representative of what I eat, but the past week has not been ideal on several accounts-…

"Wiggle Room"
Good morning- I was really good about staying below my calories (not super low, usually around 50-100 calories per day). I have been working out a lot, but have recently been going over. I seem to be a lot hungrier the more I work out!! At any rate, I am wondering what kind of wiggle room do you give yourselves either…

HRM vs MFP vs treadmill!
Good morning! I have been excited to start using my heart rate monitor (New Balance N4). Munchies
sigh...munchies again. In my own defense, I wake up at abou 5:15, eat breakfast at 6:15, small snack at about 9:30, lunch at 10:45(I know-that is so early-my husband is barely eating breakfast at that time, but that is my teaching schedule), snack after school-around 3:15, and dinner around 8pm. But about 1:30 everyday, I…

Not feeling it today.
After long haul today at school, I spent 2.5 hours in nasty rush hour snowy traffic! I am in no mood to go to the gym tonight....darn mother nature! I figure that I have worked out everyday for the past week for at leats 60 minutes. One night isn't going to kill me!

Sugar!
Ahhh...I always go over my goal for sugar intake. And it's not from eating candy-just the sugar that seems to be in EVERYTHING!! However, I do my daily servings in fruit and veggies and I know that there is sugar in those-especially apples and oranges, so I am a little less frustrated because I know those are natural…

Double Checking the Net Calories
Good Evening! I am new here and I know that there have been a bazillion conversations regarding Net Calories, but for the newbie, I just want to make sure that I understand everything so that I am not undereating or overeating. My Goal Calories is about 1720, and most days I burn at least 400 calories from working out. My…
