My first NSV!

Fitbit/MFP settings
So I have read thorough all the FAQ and a few of the getting started posts, but can't find where it says what to do with your settings. In MFP, are you supposed to set your profile to sedentary? What about exercise? Are you supposed to set that to zero? Also, I see posts about "personalized" setting. What/where is that?

Fuelband doesn't track total day's calories - does Fitbit?
So I got the Nike Fuelband, and while it is super cool looking, it doesn't track calories "all day" like it says it does. If I am not moving, ie. watching TV, sleeping, it calculates very few calories. For example, I woke up and it said I had only burned 24 calories since midnight.
