  • Where's the pink and white frosting with sprinkles? It's much more fun with frosting....
  • I gain 3 pounds every month for an entire 7 days. Then, overnight, it disappears and I'm back down to my previous weight or less!
  • hee, hee. At least one an hour! More if you still lived in TX!
  • I would also suggest you eat more. The link someone posted earlier (road map) is a good place to start. I am 195 pounds, eating 1800-2000 calories a day, and losing a pound a week.
  • Thanks for all the ideas! I'm definitely going to try doing nuts and greek yogurt for snacks. That will help a lot. I hadn't thought about protein powder. Must head to GNC!
  • That was helpful.
  • I gave up sodas 7 weeks ago when I started MFP. Since then, I've had about 4, and ended up only drinking half of them. I gave them up because I was going back and forth between diet and regular - and the regular has SO many calories. I also gave them up because of the carbonation - when you get older, it's not good for…
  • I've been doing Jazzercise off and on for years. LOVE it! The first two weeks are the hardest. Then you realize that it's the same 10-15 dance moves, just in a different order to a different song. Stand towards the middle, where you can see the people's feet on the front row. It's easier to watch the people in front of…
  • I buy them at Super Target. They are on the chip aisle. I discovered them when I bought the snack packages of hummus/pretzel chips from the produce section. I now buy the big bag of chips and big thing of hummus. It's my morning snack every day at work.
  • I did the Warrior Dash back in May in Dallas. I had trained using the C25K, and it was my first 5K. (hadn't planned on that, I wanted it to be my second race, but broke my toe in March before my scheduled regular 5K) I ran 99% of it, and was able to do all but one of the obstacles. (at the time, I was 50 pounds overweight,…
  • I recently replaced my old one with a blue, glass Weight Watchers scale from Target. Nice flat, big surface (DH has big feet) AND it weighs to a tenth of a pound, not like two-tenths like most. Nice big numbers on the display. I think it was about $24. I took it out at the store and weighed my son 4 times with the same…
  • Wow! Thanks everyone! I'm going to add them all in my next playlist, (even the few I don't know) and try them out! My C25K is in 3 weeks and my runs are getting longer, which equals more music.
  • Fuel Band does NOT track calories all day. It says it's an all day tracker, but it's only an all day tracker of activity calories. If you are standing, watching TV, sitting at your desk, etc, it says 0 calories burned. It's really neat, but I took it back and got the FitBit one. Love it.
  • Congratulations and thanks for posting! It helps motivate me to read about others finishing their first 5K. Mine is in 23 days!
  • I got my Fuelband today! Very excited about adding everyone and seeing how this works! I'm on week 4 of my Couch to 10K, but just started tracking with the Nike+ app this week. I'm slow, but at least I'm not on my couch! Feel free to add me: lisamarieruns I'm getting ready to add everyone already on the thread.
  • I just got mine today. I'll try to add you as a friend. My username is lisamarieruns.... I'm working on losing about the same amount of weight as you! I started out looking to lose 50 pounds and have lost 6 so far. I'll accept friend requests from others, too, on Nike+. Hard to compare my "fuel" when none of my Facebook…
  • I, too am quitting sugar, but doing it slowly. My first step has been cutting out the sodas. I'm on week three and have had two. The first week was REALLY hard, but I have gotten to where I don't even think about it anymore. Next month I am going to pick another part of my food intake with a lot of sugar and cut it out.
  • I also go about once an hour. I have to make sure I stop drinking my water a good hour and a half before bed or I can't make it through the night. But I also drink 10-12 cups of water a day.
  • Juno by Moving Comfort. I run and do Jazzercise with 38Ds and it is the BEST bra I have ever worn. Hard to get on, but the girls don't move once it's on, and I don't feel "bound".
  • Loving these breakfast ideas! I am a protein-in-the-morning kind of girl, too. Has anyone pre-made any of their breakfast sandwiches and frozen them? Everyone in our family doesn't get hungry for a good hour after getting up, so we all eat during our 20 minute commute to work/school. I like being able to just heat up…
  • I restarted last week after taking 4 months off. (broke a toe, then didn't want to run in the 100 degree heat, don't like treamills) I am on week 2 and while it is still hard, it does not feel as hard as the first time. I remember the first week/first time being torture - felt like I was going to die/couldn't breathe. I…
  • I agree with the "not getting enough sleep" part, too. How old are you, and what time are you going to bed?
  • Each Disney resort has a guard with a gate. You have to show resort ID (one they give you when you check in) to get past the gate. Also, bus transport from resorts can be anywhere from a 1 minute to a 30 minute wait depending on the day, the season and the park. It's not worth saving the $14. Also, getting back can take…
