starvation mode?
I'm wondering how long does it take your body to go into "starvation mode?" If I have a huge calorie deficit one day, will that be throwing my metabolism off? I understand if it's several days in a row, but one day? Not that I encounter this myself very often, but it'd be good to know. Thank you.

calorie baseline?
I've been hearing recently 1200 calories isn't accurate for baseline caloric requirement. Some say to take your weight and multiply it by 13 (in my case, 145lbs x 13 = 1885 calories. Then subtract calories from that figure to lose weight. Does anyone have more info about this?

Binging & MFP
I recently read that for people with a binging disorder (such as myself) keeping such detailed tracking of what you eat can be detrimental. It seem that monitoring so strictly leads to feeling deprived, which leads to overeating. For myself, I did really well on this site for about 2 wks then have been binging like never…

Caloric burn calculations on here
I've noticed that that on here I can burn 200 or so calories while walking 2.0 miles/hr for half-an-hour. This just seem right. Are the calculations off? Thank you
