I could use some help in setting up an exercise program. I would like to know what types of exercise, how often and if I should be alternating exercises on different days.

Aerobic exercise
I've heard that walking is some of the best exercise and doesn't cost anything. I am already walking. I also do some strength training, band work, stretches for muscle toning. I would like to add aerobic exercise to my program. What is considered aerobic exercise, should I do it every day and how much?

I did it!!
After trying for the last few weeks I finally made my 10,000 steps in a day. I was so surprised when I checked my pedometer. Yes I finally got to my goal. Its only going to get better from here!! :)
