Seasoned runners, running socks?
I just started couch to 5 k and I've never been a runner before- the app suggested I get running socks as cotton socks lead to blisters. I'm wondering if there is any truth to this. If there is and you have experience, drop your recommended sock suggestion below!

if a page lists reps as 5,4,3,2,1 what exactly does that mean? specifically http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/5-week-whole-body-single-kettlebell-workout?day=2 I'm assuming it means 5 on one side then the other then 4 on each etc, but i just want to be sure?

weighing and measuring foods
I never really logged food before, i mostly have used this website to read the forums, but have decided that it is time. But I don't know how I should measure. Do I weigh my food raw or cooked?
