Joints Popping
Every time I work out (I mostly do the elliptical machine) I hear/feel popping in my joints (specifically my ankles and knees, sometimes hips and shoulders.) I know my joints are under stress because I'm obese, but should I be worried about this? I don't have any soreness or pain in my joints.

The Math Hurts My Brain!
Ok, I admit it, I'm not great at math. I was lucky to marry a man with a math degree. I'm a musician... I only have to count to 8, 12 if it's really hard! So calculating my calories hurts my brain sometimes. Today, I had a food item that was listed on mfp but my options were 1/3 c, 1 cup or the whole thing. I'd eaten 1…

Epic Fail, Day 2
I feel like I'm at a critical point. I did well yesterday, Day 1. I was super excited. I was doing well today... until my husband sold his guitar and wanted to go out to eat to celebrate. It was too much for me. I love to eat out. I was excited to be able to go out with my husband and daughter (it doesn't happen often.) I…

Measuring/Calorie Counting
What do you do when you've measured out your food, but then leave a few bits? Like this morning, I measure out my cereal and milk but left a few bits of cereal and some milk. No way to measure what I've left! Should I just count it and consider it an accomplishment?
