Question for "Athletic Build" ladies
If you lift heavy or were born with a more athletic/"stocky" build, what is your height and goal weight? As a 5'4" woman, I am trying to figure out where I should set my goal weight...I'd like to be realistic, since I have always had very muscular legs and a trainer told me I had a more athletic body type (under all the…

How to make this recipe more healthy?
I would LOVE to cook some fresh pasties, especially since I don't live in Michigan any more...but is there a way to make this recipe more healthy? http://m.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/michigan-pasty-meat-hand-pie.html Specifically, I want to rework the crust...I could make the flour half whole-wheat and half regular, but…

Excavating the Closet: One Woman's Amazing Journey
Let me preface this NSV: I am quite a clothes horse. I LOVE to shop and have plenty of options, but I slowly put on enough weight that at one point, I could literally not fit into a single thing in my closet. Only one pair of work pants has fit me for 2-3 years now, but I have lots of skirts that fit any size so I've still…

Weird Sports Bra ?'s
Ladies, I have some questions about sports bras... ~ How many do you own? ~ When/how often do you wash them? I don't know if I am "normal" or not. I only have 3 sports bras that fit me right now: two of them are cheaper and hold sweat against my body (gifts so I hadn't tried on, I think Champion brand), and the other is an…

Back to work, back off track
Hey guys... I recently started back teaching again, and this week has been KILLER! Going from laying on the couch most of the day to being on my feet constantly, always having to be on my toes, meetings, planning, and the EXHAUSTION....it's hard to explain how exhausting teaching can be to someone else. It's as if your…

Seeking Food Scale Recommendations
I am looking to get a food scale but have never bought one before. I don't have a lot of money but I don't want a really cheap one that won't measure correctly or tends to break. Do you have a great food scale that you would recommend? What was the brand/type/cost, and where did you get it? Was there a *terrible* scale you…

30DS Music
Lately I've noticed that the music from Level 1 stays in my brain all day and that I'm humming it and hearing it all the time...has anyone else had this happen? I am kind of weirded out, especially since I do the DVD every other day

Natalie
Does anyone actually follow Natalie all the time??? I have to stick to Anita or regular moves to get through, and sometimes have a pause or drop a weight to keep going. One thing that DID make me feel a little better: you know how Jillian says "These girls are tough; they don't even cheat when I'm not looking!"? On round 2…

Question about MFP calorie accuracy
I just joined the website recently, but I've noticed something while logging in my own exercise as well as seeing other people's...the calories burned on this site seem much higher than what the gym machines tell me. Is there an inflation of workout results, or not? If so, why does this happen?

Seeking fellow losers ;)
25-year-old 5'4" female here ready for change! I have been overweight since my teen years (info in my profile), but really want to start taking better care of myself now. It has been so EASY for me to just ignore what I eat; honestly, this is my first real effort to track my intake. My boyfriend isn't much help because…
