Did the scale really move?!?!
I was hanging around 210 for sooo long, even after training for and running two separate 1/2 marathons the scale would not budge. I was thrilled to finally see the scale move, in fact it jumped down to 205. I'm so used to seeing the same numbers show up that I kept checking the scale, I've probably stood on it 10 times…

Did something great but can't celebrate . . .
I'm having a hard time celebrating something I was able to accomplish and now I'm looking for support. Yesterday I ran in my second half marathon in the span of 3 months, but with each race I didn't finish in the time I wanted and so I feel like it wasn't good enough-that I didn't push myself hard enough. I did it! I made it under 200 lbs!! I haven't been there since I had my first child 8 1/2 years ago. The only thing is that I have been really sick for a couple of days and not able to eat anything or keep anything down. That weight loss still counts doesn't it? So I guess here's to hoping that the weight will stay off…

one small success at a time
I just wanted to share one of my small success. It is hard for me to keep going when I see so little change on the scale, I decided to check my measurements. Where I have only lost 6 pounds since I started, I have lost 14 inches. There is something exciting about looking at past measurements, anticipating the new results,…
