Hi everyone! I joined MFP at the start of the new year and was excited to get started. I did really good for a couple of weeks entering my food and exercise, but then like my usual self I quickly lost interest and motivation. I realy would like to see what I can acomplish. I have a family reunion planned for the end of July and I would love to not be the fat one anymore, plus it would be great to suprise all those I haven't see for a while. I get about 45 min to 1 hour of workout in daily but struggle with the nutrition aspect. I would love any encouragement and ideas on how to stay with the program and stay motivated. Also it would be helpful to know the best way to use this site. Thanks!

Hello :D I find that the most beneficial thing on the website is the calorie tracker. It really makes me think about EVERYTHING I put in my mouth! Try just starting from scratch, one big shopping spree where all the junk is out. You can do it :) You're doing it already!

    Hi!
Well done on the daily workout :D
I had the same issue as you with keeping on track and keeping up the motivation. I used Susan Hepburn's Hypnodiet daily meditation. You can get that on Amazon or in a book shop. It basically just reminds you of your goal and what you want to do. It also is rather relaxing and a lovely way to start the day with energy rather than the morning slump. I need to get back on with that. Once you commit to it, it's just something that I regarded as a daily need. Completely no effort, too. S'good.

    Good luck :)
