Hmm, I'm trying to faithfully track my intakes and found a huge discrepancy between confirmed nutrients for an Albertson's fried chicken breast. Some confirmed entries say it is only 131 calories while confirmed entries say it is 450 calories. Which is it? I can find several other sites that list it as only 131 calories…

How to handle strained fat in a recipe?
I found a cool recipe for homemade turkey sausage and tried it last night. I used lean ground turkey 93/7 and strained off the fat. The recipe calculator for MFP assumes that one does not drain off the fat so fat intake is overestimated. Is there a way to adapt recipes to reflect straining off the fat?

Converting food entry to mass instead of volume
Many of the items I track list a serving in cups rather than mass. It is so much easier to simply weigh rather than get out the measuring cups... How do you handle this situation? Meat nutrient content: raw values or cooked?
Most of the meat entries in the food library do not state if they are raw weight or cooked weight. When should I weigh before or after cooking to accurately track my macro intakes?

Water versus coffee
I consume lots of black coffee per day (nothing added). Do I still need to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day? My family Doc thinks the extra water is not necessary. Agree?

Is there a way to customize the Pro and Cho settings in MFP?
I want to set a higher protein and a lower CHO target than specified by MFP. Is there a way to adjust these manually or will I be doing the math mentally each time for my targets? Thanks!
