Running- how to keep up the intensity?
Have been running a few months now. Running about 5:50 per km and run 3- 4 times a week, with a 10k at the weekend. I find it easier now. For example, did 6 k last night and was barely sweating. Drained after eating, tired all the time
Last week or so, feel very drained- esp after eating, like I am on a go slow and my head is full of cotton wool. I am getting ratty with the kids too. I think my diary is open. I was particularly wrecked yesterday. Any ideas- am I eating too little of something? Thanks

Arghh - calves increasing while rest reducing!
Have started running in last few weeks and was just doing circuit training in gym til then. Now while the running is doing wonders for my inches elsewhere, my calves are bulking. Why am I finding it so hard to stay at/under my calorie goal? What exercise for slender thighs?
My waist etc have trimmed down nicely, but my butt and, in particular, my thighs are still carrying a lot of weight/fat/inches/whatever you want to call it. Can anyone recommend a workout to work on my thighs- the quads are ok, its the backs of my thighs and sides (saddlebags)

Weighong food- before or after cooking?
e.g. Sweet potatoes - they weigh say 400g before cooking but obviously dehydrate in the oven and they only weigh 200g then - so which do I count? On MFP they come up as "Sweet Potato Baked" so I can't tell.

How to calculate my calorie deficit? Have I done it right?
Aside from using the counter on MFP. So if my BMR when I calculate it is 1385 and then I add in my exercise (i.e. multiply x 1.55 for moderate excercise*) I get 2146 cals a day- so to create a calorie deficit of 1000cals to lose 2 lb a week, I need to eat 1146 cals a day. Is that correct? (N.B.) MFP has me on 1200 minimum…

How does SW work?
not a loaded question. Genuinely curious. If I eat less calories than I burn, I lose weight. On SW though, I can eat as much fruit and veg, lean meat and non fat dairy, pasta, potatoes, etc as I want- that would add up to far more than 1200 cals- as it is moderate amounts of all are easily adding up to my 1200 cals a day.…

Ok, so I am on a 1200 a day diet and exercising daily- approx 1 hour a day. On track so far. My query is this: if I exercise am I "entitled" to eat more calories?
