If you eat over cals say for a weekend, how long would it take to see it on the scales? A day? two days? Longer?

You would have to eat 3500 calories more than your normal daily calories to gain a pound. So if your normal daily calorie goal is 1500, you would have to eat 5000 to gain a pound.
You might gain some water weight if you eat lots of sodium laden foods over the weekend. If seeing a gain on the scale would be upsetting, drink plenty of water for a few days after the weekend before you weigh yourself.
Have fun enjoying your weekend eating!0 -
really depends how much you went over and how many days. You are already eating at a deficit if you are losing weight so to see a weight gain you would have to eat above matienence calories to see a gain. Depending on how much you went above you may gain just a few ounces it would take a lot to gain even a pound. As far as how long does it take to show up, it really depends on your body. If i have a bad day it usually shows up 2 days later0
