I like to have a protein shake for breakfast, but today I won't be working out until late this afternoon. So should I drink a protein shake with at least 24 grams of protein this morning, or wait and drink it pre or post workout?

Struggling to meet caloric goals
MFP set my goals to 1,200 calories for me to lose .5 pounds per week. I weigh 108 and I'm 5'2", so I want to lose maybe 3 pounds tops. My main goal though is to just tone up a good bit more.
