11.5 weeks into my new lifestyle............

Pedometer wrong?
Okay, I bought a Omron pedometer. I really only bought it to track my calories burn and walking distance. Well....I still can't get it to be "right" I drove part of my walking route, and the pedometer is short changing me. It said 1.78 miles and my car said 2.3. Why such a difference? What am I doing wrong?

I need help converting my calories burned
Okay so I just got this new pedometer, and it says it tracks calories burned. I was just on my elliptical and when I was done my elliptical said 50 mins and 531 calories burned. Now my ped says 226kcal can someone please help??!!
