5'4/5'5/5'6 girls who want to lose ~ 20lbs by summer
I have a group that I set up 3 weeks ago but I still think 20lbs is realistic depending on when summer starts so it doesn't matter that some of you may be late. The point of the group is to discuss the challenge of losing the weight with people of a similar height and similar goals. I have set up a weekly weigh in thread…

Hello I'm back and I'm sorry
Hi all, I’m so sorry I’ve not been posting the weigh ins every week and thank you for the person who did it- My grandma died last week and the funeral was this week- tbh my mind has not been focused on the whole weight thing- The past couple of weeks I had to put things into perspective. But I’m back now and super…

Weigh in week Saturday 1st -Friday 7th March
Hello everyone. So here are my stats W1: 10st 10 W2: 10st 7 W3: 10st 2 W4: 10st 5 W5: 10st 4 I'm so happy! Another lb gone, and I'm so pleased that with accurate accurate tracking my body is actually doing the whole calories thing- it makes sense as a Biology major that this should be the way but it never worked ... but…

Overcoming carb fear, eating more carbs.. and losing weight
I have hypothyroid and tried to low carb for ages and just yo-yo'd. I've gone back onto carbs in the past month- although only GOOD carbs e.g oatmeal, fruit, yoghurt, some cereals (not overly sugary ones!) and I'm losing weight sustainably and quicker than I ever have when trying to low carb. I've lost 6lbs in 5 weeks…

Saturday weigh in 22 feb
Hello, So here are my stats W1: 10st 10 W2: 10st 7 W3: 10st 2 W4: 10st 5 Even though this means I've gone up 3 lbs I did think my 5lb loss last week was a bit extreme- maybe a water/food inside me low? But this week still indicates that in 2 weeks I've lost 2lbs and in 3 weeks 5lbs so the trend is still down and I do not…

Sharing tips
I thought we could all just post a succinct list of the tips we have that work when losing weight because sometimes other peoples ideas can be really helpful. Here are some of mine: Knowing that when you say in your head 'this won't make any difference' or 'it's only a little bit' - that THESE ARE THE MOMENTS THAT COUNT,…

Hi everyone :) SW: 10st 10lbs BF 28.5% W @ week 1: 10st 7lbs BF 26.4% (Boots Machine) CW @week 2: 10st 2lbs BF 23.7% (Same Boots Machine!) These results seem almost too good to be true, I'm worried there is something wrong with the machine, although it is the same machine I have weighed on every week...... IT just seems…

Can I trust these results? 8lbs and 5% BF lost in 2 weeks
Hello, I have been really dedicated and logging my food almost with 100% accuracy for the past 2 weeks and been doing relatively light exercise - half an hour weight session in the gym every other day and in the days in between going for a half an hour light jog. I've been eating quite badly-quite a bit of processed food…

Week 1
Hi everyone, I've been looking through everyone's goals and it's really exciting to see a lot of is with similar weights and reasons for losing. We can all do this by the summer. 20lbs is a realistic goal but every week from now will count, and every day within that week. Stay accountable, track as closely as you can. And…

Measuring accurately
I cannot believe how when you measur absolutely everything to a tee including every little mouthful and every drop of milk in tea how quickly it adds up. I've always had an electronic scale and 'tracked as accurately as possible' but for the last week I didn't eat hardly anything that I didn't think I would accurately be…

Weekly weigh in
I am proposing that we weigh in every Saturday morning. Even if you weigh daily or more frequently then weekly this will be the day to report your weight on the group. I think having something like this is really good as it's almost like a cyber version of weight watchers where you have to weigh in and the prospect of…

Advice needed- how do you stick to your calorie goal ?
Hello Just looking for some advice really on sticking to my goal of 1350-1400 calories a day. I know if I'm disciplined and I stick to this I will be successful.
