how do you log weightlifting in exercises with a specific weight because it's showing no results found in strength training

Im having a bit of a problem with my weight loss programme. Even though my diary says I should be losing weight by eating the right foods etc. I only seem to gain weight when I eat anything at all! I don't know what to do about this and whether it's normal??
