Help me clarify something? Might have been going about Maintaining all wrong.
So I need some help clarifying something, I think. After I'd lost weight, I'd hit 6% body fat. I figured I was done, at that point, and it was time to start Maintaining rather than Losing. I wanted to reduce cardio, increase my caloric intake, and kinda.. become a normal person. While losing, I was at 4 hours of cardio, an…

Bad results, lately, not sure how to find a good maintenance level
'Lo, folks. So I've been trying to figure out a good maintenance level for a while, and I have yet to do so. I lost 250 pounds and got down to around 170 over a couple years. Back in November I was doing 4 hours a day, for cardio, plus an hour of weight lifting. I had a strict diet of 2,000 calories a day. I'd hit 170…

Still kind of lost on getting to a "good" level of cardio
So... I've still been doing about 3 hours a day of cardio. Comes out to around 2,100 calories burned. Also do weight training every day. I've kept my eating incredibly strict, and I consume 2,030 calories a day. I've held this rate by eating the same foods for the past.. four months or so? No change to diet. 8 months ago I…

Having a difficult time maintaining, so confused.
So, basic info - I've lost 250ish pounds. From 428 to 168-180 (The range is part of my problem). I went to a Hydrostatic weigh-in and found that I was at 9.9% body fat when I was at 180. Now I've been trying to figure out what I need to do to maintain my weight now that I've reached my goal, and I'm having a difficult time…

At 180 and under 9.9% Body Fat, Can/Should I even lose more?
So last week I changed up my routine. I'd been doing 3 hours~ of cardio a day, plus weightlifting, and I'd been eating 1500 calories a day. So I decided to reduce my cardio to 1 hour of running a day, and I seem to have hit the exact same mark. I'm not sure it would have mattered if I had done more cardio. Would it have…

Which calorie count to trust?
So the calorie count on MFP seems to say 371 calories burned for 30 minutes of elliptical, however, the machine I use gives me a count of around 650 burned. Could it be that my machine takes resistance into account while MFP doesn't? As I've maxed out the resistance on my machine and do it pretty intensely. Or is my…

Knowing when I'm done?
So I went and got my body fat percentage tested at a local university, using the whole hydrostatic weighing thing. I come in at 9.9% body fat. Over the last few weeks I've also had a lot of trouble ever getting below 182 pounds, no matter what I do (1,500 calories a day and 3+ hours of cardio). Am I done losing weight?…
